[4] Correspondence from Tracee Ng and Charles Nesbitt put the purchase of this work in 1981 and the gift to OMA in 1986. Margot and Charles Nesbitt made a gift of two works in 1977 to the Oklahoma Museum of Art that were given accession numbers 77.5.1 and 77.5.2. It is unclear why the OMA accession sheet for Torso was given the accession number 77.5, it is presumed that the staff of OMA later associated this work with that gift as records were incomplete.
