B. J. White

Oklahoma native B.J. White received her MFA from the University of Oklahoma. Through paint, collage, and sculpture, White builds layers of color, images, and texture that explore written and spoken language as it relates to social, political, or environmental issues. Repetition of shapes and marks represent the staccato rhythm of life against the multiplicity and synchronicity of experiences. Frequently published, White's work has been widely reproduced, including Collage Techniques, Expressive Drawings, and the Complete Guide to Watercolor.
